After thirty-two years of service, Cheryl Edlow retired from Chesterfield Public Schools as an English teacher for seventh and eighth graders.  Mrs. Edlow earned her mass communications undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1981 and received a second degree in the field of middle school education with a concentration in English and social studies from Virginia Commonwealth in 1985.  While in the Chesterfield School System, Mrs. Edlow was active in a variety of school and community-based activities.  As a retiree, Mrs. Edlow enjoys being active in her church, reading, creative writing, early morning walks, watching TV and spending time with her family and friends.  She has been married since November 1981 and has two daughters.  Her older daughter is a graduate of Shenandoah University and Conservatory.  Her younger daughter is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.
